Casa Espuela is a standalone building with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and great views. Once upon a time, somebody had the bright idea to enclose an entire mobile home in adobe. Our renovations began by busting down an end wall and extracting the trailer in one massive, groaning piece. Today, it’s a comfortable casita with tons of retro charm: wood floors, tile counters, fireplace and portal.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and ample closet space. The oversize, master bathroom has a large shower, tile counters and two sinks. The second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds and an attached full bathroom with a tile sink and bathtub. Comfortable seating surrounds the fireplace in the living room. A breakfast bar that seats three separates the living room from the kitchen where you’ll find a table for four, plenty of counter space, cook-top, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and a full-size refrigerator. A washer and dryer are are also included in the utility area of this unit. (images below)
